Everything you need to know about our gems, the creation process, the personalisation of your jewel and how we guide you every step of the way.
Yes, absolutely. They are authentic gemstones with the same physical, chemical and optical properties as those mined from the earth. Diamonds reach a hardness of 10 on the Mohs scale and sapphires and rubies a hardness of 9. The only difference is their origin: they are cultivated in the laboratory from the elements present in your beloved pet's ashes or hair.
All three are authentic gemstones created in the laboratory, but their composition is different. The diamond is formed from pure crystallised carbon. The sapphire and ruby belong to the corundum family and their colour depends on the elements present in the sample. The ruby is deep red, while sapphires can range from deep blue to pink, passing through unique and unrepeatable tones. Each gemstone is chosen based on the desired result and the personal meaning you wish to give it.
Yes. You can choose the cut style from several available options and the carat size. In the case of diamonds, you can select from different colours. Sapphires and rubies develop a unique and unrepeatable colour determined by the elements present in the sample, which makes each gemstone truly exclusive.
Yes. In addition to ashes, it is possible to create diamonds, sapphires and rubies from human hair or pet fur. You need approximately 10 grams of hair. The element extraction and gemstone growth process is the same, and the result is equally authentic and long-lasting.
We guide you through the choice. Depending on your colour preferences, budget and jewellery type, we direct you towards the gemstone that best suits you. Diamonds offer maximum hardness and classic brilliance, while sapphires and rubies bring a unique and deeply personal colour. You don't have to decide alone: our team is here to help you.
The timeframe depends on the type of gemstone. For sapphires and rubies, the complete process takes approximately 2 months from receipt of the sample. For diamonds, the timeframe is 6 to 10 months, depending on the size of the gemstone. In both cases, this includes element extraction, gemstone growth in the laboratory, cutting, certification and mounting in the jewellery you have chosen. We keep you informed at every stage.
The process begins with the extraction of carbon present in the ashes or hair. That carbon is subjected to high pressure and high temperature conditions in our laboratory in Austria, reproducing the natural process of diamond formation. The result is a real diamond, with the same crystalline structure and properties as one extracted from a mine, but created with the elements of your beloved.
Yes. From ashes or hair, the necessary elements are extracted to cultivate a real ruby or sapphire. The laboratory growth process incorporates up to 10 elements from the original sample, which makes each gemstone chemically unique. The result is an authentic piece with deeply personal meaning.
Yes, provided there is sufficient sample material. From the same sample of ashes or hair, several gemstones can be created, allowing different family members to keep their own piece of jewellery. We advise you on the possibilities depending on the available quantity.
The amount depends on the type of gemstone. For sapphires and rubies, you need approximately 50 grams of ashes or 10 grams of hair or fur. For diamonds, you need around 150 grams of ashes or 300 grams of fur. If you have any doubts about the available quantity, contact us and we will guide you.
We provide you with a secure shipping kit with clear instructions and all necessary materials. The sample is collected from your home or sent by certified courier with tracking. We treat each sample with the utmost care and respect, guaranteeing its traceability from the start.
It depends on the type of gemstone. Diamonds include a gemological certificate issued by the IGI (International Gemological Institute), one of the most recognised gemological institutions in the world, as well as a laser inscription with the certificate number engraved on the gemstone itself. Sapphires and rubies come with a certificate of authenticity and traceability that certifies their origin, gemological characteristics and creation process, issued by a laboratory with quality standards certified under ISO standard. In both cases, the certificate guarantees that your gemstone is real and was created from the sample you sent.
Yes. Sakti Atelier diamonds can be certified by internationally recognised gemological laboratories. The certificate details the gemstone's characteristics: carat weight, colour, cut and clarity. Additionally, each piece includes its own traceability certificate that links the gemstone to the original sample.
